The work of David Votre Chazam follows those peculiar pathes in many sides of the music, radio drama, staging, sound design in which he develops a singular vocabulary between pop and experimental music. Chazam is also very often DJing, and is the booker of le Walvis a music club in Bruxelles since 2016. He started in 2016 a new form of participative dance event called "le grand choreoke" in which he's playing as a DJ and a VJ and making the audience dance following various dances on video-clips. He lives in Bruxelles where he's a restless musical activist. The collaboration with Jean Jacques Perrey started in 1995. David Chazam would write a letter to the electronic music pioneer proposing a new collaboration. The answer was "Where, when, how ?". They became very close friends at first meeting, Chazam becoming sort of a spiritual son of the composer. It was just before the come-back of the master on the musical scene all over the world.
