"Sommier préparé" was built for the purpose of an erotic festival in Brussels.
It had to be able to reproduce the internal sounds of a club-chair in love with a girl who sat on it (him ?)
It contains many captors, and can be a quadraphonic sound instrument....
It is a very expressive percussion instrument, quite hard to play.
It brings springs into the statut of occidental paradigmatic instrument,
like drums in Africa or Gong in Asia.
I do consider SPRINGS as a musical and objective reflect of our industrialised society
but just a few people know it...
